Death of Mrs. E. F. Power. ' The many friends of Mrs. E. F. Power, will regret to learn of her de mise at Orroroo, South Australia on the 31st ultimo after a long illness. The deceased lady who is survived by her husband and three children was a very old and respected citizen of this city, and was very prominent in the matter of assisting charitable and other institutions among which were the Ambulance Brigade, Cairns District Hospital, Returned Soldiers' Associa- tion, etc. She lived for many years in Sheridan-street, bringing up a family of four children, two daughters and two sons, one of the latter being killed in action in the late war. The other son, Mr. H. Power, of Power and Love motor engineers, is at present in Cairns. The deceased lady's two daugthers are Mrs. E. M..Boden and Mrs. Felix Dillon, both of Cairns. The late Mrs. Power and her husband had been living in South Australia for the past nine months, during which period she had not enjoyed very good health.
