WEDDINGS MOULDS— EADE: The Central Presbytcrian Church, Wills Street, was the scene of a very pretty wedding on May 12, when Private Margaret Vivien, A.W.A.S.. eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Eade, Townsville, was joined in the bonds of holy matrimony to Craftsman George Joseph, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Moulds, Mt. Morgan, by the Rev. Bal linger. The bride, carrying a beautiful bouquet of white chrysanthemums, entered the Church on the arm of her father. Mr. C. H. Eade. The brides frock was of white figured organdie, the bodice being finished with a square neck pin tucked and insertion The fully flared skirt fell in a long train. A silk tulle net veil finished with while chrysanthemum was worn and was kindly lent by a cousin of the bride. Mrs. A. Fraley, of Charters Towers, and white elbow length mittens completed her toilette. For some thing old the bride worn a cameo brooch lent by the groom's mother. The bridesmaid, Miss Blanche Eade, carried a bouquet of pale pink roses and chrysanthemum and was dressed in blue net, which featured a long waisted ruched bodice with a three tiered, fully flared skirt, a blue net and satin ribbon toque, with blue net gloves completing her toilette. The groom, who was dressed in full army uniform (Australian) was ably assisted by Mr. Dallas Grant as best man. The guests adjourned to the Oddfellows' Hall, City, where the reception was held, and were received by the bride's mother. Mrs. C. H. Eade who wore a teal blue lombia frock with navy blue accessories and was assisted by the groom's mother, Mrs. G. Moulds, who wore a very pretty rose pink lombia frock with white accessories. The honeymoon was spent in the south. |
