Daily Mercury (Mackay) 30 May 1931
On Sunday morning Max Anderson,
A farmer at Strathdickie,
while helping to repair his lorry,
was accidentally killed through the
jack slipping. It appears that after
jacking the lorry up and taking off
the front wheels, Mr. J. Driche, who
was helping him, went into his tool
shed for some tools. While he was
absent, Max went under the lorry,
when the jack slipped, and the engine
fell on his head, killing him instantly.
