OBITUARY MRS. J. J. NOLAN The death occurred at Lockhart late on Thursday night of Mrs. Mary Nolan, wife of Councillor J. J. Nolan, president of the Lockhart Shire Council, at the age of 56 years. Mrs. Nolan had been in indifferent health for the last two years She was a native of Urana and was the daughter of the late Rupert Mason, who came to Australia from England in 1850, and Mrs. Caroline Mason (Nee Hargraves), of Tasmania. Mrs. Nolan’s family settled in Urana and resided there for many years. In 1907 Mrs. Nolan came to Lockhart and was married two years later. She is survived by her husband, Mr. J. J. Nolan: two daughters, Mary and Florence, all of Lockhart and two sons Kitchener, of Sydney, and Tom of Lockhart. The funeral will leave the Lockhart Church of England at 2.30 today for the Church of England portion of the Lockhart cemetery. |
