Robert Mather & Mary Snaddon Clackmannan – Lanarkshire 1 of 1 NewRobert Mather & Mary Snaddon Clackmannan – Lanarkshire treeresearcher1 (View posts) Posted: 10 Apr 2005 07:06AM Classification: Query Surnames: Mather Robert Mather was a Police Constable then a School Attendance officer in Uddingston Lanarkshire he was born on 16/2/1874 in Tillicoultry, his parents were Robert Mather a Shoemaker and Agnes Williamson….Robert later Married Margaret Gall and he died in Falkirk Infirmary on 19/2/1946..he stayed at this time in Sauchie He married on 14/7/1897 in Tillicoultry Mary Snaddon a Draper Saleswoman who was born on 2/6/1872 in Clackmannan, her parents were Catherine Mitchell and John Snaddon a Millworker, Mary died in Viewpark, Lanarkshire on 21/12/1921 They had the following children all in Uddingston:- Robert John Mather bn 27/11/1898 Alice Mather bn 19/9/1900 Mary Catherine Mitchell Mather bn 9/6/1902 – who married on 16/7/1928 Arthur Ernest Parish a Clerk who was from New Cross, London.
