Mr Thomas Polk Willsallen, of Gunnible station, Gunnedah one of the pioneers of the Liverpool Plains where he settled 40 years ago, died last night at his city residence, Ulg Lodge, Point Piper, at the age of 76 years Mr Willsallen was a native of Ballina, Ireland and followed grazing pursuits for many years being largely interested in pastoral properties, not only in this State, but also In Queensland. He took a keen interest in the Gunnedah Hospital, of which institution he was president at the time of his death and among other offices hold by him was that of patron of the Pastoral Agricultural, and Horticultural Society of Gunnedah. The de ceased had been ailing for some time past, and his end was not unexpected. He has left a widow, three sons-Messrs Edwin Herbert Willsallen, Thomas Leslie Willsallen and Percy Stanley Willsallen-all graziers, and two daughters - Mrs J M Antill, wife of Lleutenant-Colonel Antill, and Miss Daisy Willsallen

A stepbrother, Mr R G Higgins, of Kickerbell, died a few months ago. The remains, will be interred in the family vault at Gunnedah.
