' MISS RUTH EDNA PARKER, whose engagement to Mr. Walter Harry Thompson (elder son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Thompson, Alfa Vale. Nanango), is announced. Miss Parker is the elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Parker of Parkdale (Ayr).

THOMPSON— PARKER Miss Ruth Edna Parker, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Parker. Clare Road. Ayr. was married to Mr. Walter Harry Thompson, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs, W. H. Thompson, Alfa Vale, Nanango, in All Saints' Church of England, Ayr, the Rev. S. A. Innes officiating. The bride wore s lace frock with an embroidered Brussels net veil, and carried white roses. Misses Zena Parker and Ida Land were bridesmaids. Mr. Hollls Parker was best man, and Mr, J. Thompson groomsman. About 80 guests were entertained at the Caledonian Hall.
