Note 5: 1895 - Death Cert in an Ancestry tree Bendigo Advertiser 18 Sept 1895 Peter Lyon, of Laanecoorie, farmer, by his will dated 10th July, 1894, appointed his sons, Allan Lyon and William Rutherford Lyon, both of Lianecoorie, farmers, executors. Testator bequeathed his land. Crown allotment 6, section 10, parish of Laanecooiie (152 acres), to his son, Allan Lyon ; his land, Crown allotments l and 2, section 10 (76 acres each), to his son, William iam Rutherford Lyon ; and his land, allotment 177, 177 parish of Kinupanial (166 acres) to his children, Allan Lyon and Peter Lyon, equally, as tenants in common ; his four half-shares in allotments 10 and 12,section 10,sub-divisions A A and B, parish of Laanecorie (76 acres each), to of his grandchildren, the sons of John Rutherford Lyon (now deceased), equally, as tenants in common. The residuary estate testator directed to be divided into four equal parts, one of which is bequeathed to each of Allan Lyon, William Rutherford Lyon, and Peter Lyon and the other to the sons of John Rutherford Lyon (now deceased). Testator died 27th May 1895, and the estate is sworn at £1.834.10s real and £100 10s personal; total, £1,935.
