The late Mr. Bell was a valued member of the 'Bulletin' staff until his retirement about two years ago. A native of Charters Towers, he served his time there as a printer, and nearly 40 years ago came to Townsville to the 'Bulletin.' A practical tradesman, he was regarded highly by the company and his workmates, many of whom profited from his experience. Mr, Bell is survived by his widow and four sons, Bill, Gordon, Jack and Robert, and one daughter, Betty (Mrs. Field).
