DEATH OF MR. ALEXANDER PIPER.
On Tuesday last Mr. W. J. Piper, of Tumut, received the distressing intelligence from his brother in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs Daniel French, of Jawbone, that his brother, Mr. Alexander Piper, had died at a place 65 miles from Orange, suddenly, and was buried before they heard of his death. The deceased was a native of Wermatong, near Tumut Plains, and was in his 65th year. He left here about 20 years ago and lived about Orange since. He leaves behind him three brothers (William John, Samuel and Robert) and two sisters (Mrs D. French, of Jawbone, and Mrs J, Folley of Narandera) to mourn his loss. He never married
