Personal Notes:

Alexander James Chessor married Margaret Fitzgibbon in Queanbeyan in 1872. She then remarried a William Munders on 14th July, 1893.
I would like to know her status at the second marriage.
Was she Widowed, Divorced or Abandoned?
The reason I ask this question is I can find no death or burial details on Alexander in any state of Australia.
Sunday Times Perth 5 Mar 1916" CHESSOR (James Alexander), who left Goulburn, N.S.W., about 36 years ago, and is believed to have come to this State." ie to Western Australia. So he left in about 1880?
I am thinking he could have done a ‘runner’. In those days very few people owned their own houses and for a man it was simple to get on a train in Goulburn as “John Smith” and get off the train in Melbourne as “John Brown”.
