Alice May 12 May 1914 was also born at Coorparoo and wed George LYE in Brisbane in 1945. During her teens, Mayor Maisie as she was known worked at Penny's in Brisbane. She and George were keen orchid growers who won many prizes at shows. On 05 Jun 1983, Alice died at Tingalpa. |
