Personal Notes:
The many friends of Mr. O. C. (Boydie) Beegling of Tumut, were shocked when the news circulated of his sudden death at the home of Mr and Mrs Ron Brown, in Sydney. Mr Beegling had been recently conveyed from Tumut Hospital to St. Vincent's Hospltal, Sydney, where he was to undergo an operation within the next 10 days and had been allowed out to spend a few days with Mr and Mrs Brown prior to undergoing the ordeal. The late Mr Beegling, who was 55 years of age, was a member of the well-known butchering family of Tumut, and was forced to retire from active work some years ago owing to heart trouble. He is survived by his widow, daughters Elaine (Mrs: K. Carolan) and Shirley (Mrs. J. Battenally); brothers Norman and Neville (Tumut), and sisters (Una, Mrs. P. D. Boston, Adelong), and Edna (Mrs. E. Reid, Melbourne).
