WEDDING. SINCLAIR—CRAIN. On Wednesday, January 2, .the little Church of England on the hill overlooking the new Mt. Adrah Hotel and the junction of Nacka Nacka and Yaven Creeks could not accommodate all the relatives, friends and well wishers who attended to witness the marriage of Miss Rose Crain, eldest daughter of the late Irvine Crain and Mrs. Crain of Mt. Adrah, with Mr. W. Sinclair, of Nangus. Rev. Flet cher, of the Parish of Tarcutta, tied the nuptial knot. The bride looked charming in ivory mariette, with sil ver lace and medallions, rhynstone necklet and trimming. The wreath and veil completing the toilet was kindly lent by her sister-in-law, Mrs. L. Crain. The bridesmaids were Misses D. Maxworthy, I. Kennedy (nieces of the bride), and I Whitic ker (cousin of the bride). The brides maids were gowned in blue, mauve and pink georgette respectively, with silver lace trimmings. The brides and bridesmaids bouquets were kin dly made by Mrs. George Gibson, of Adelong. Mr. Francis filled the role of best man. Mrs. R. J. Butt, of Mt. Horeb, presided at the organ, and during the signing of the register sang ''Because.' The reception was held at the Mt. Adrah homestead, where Mrs. I. Crain, mother of the bride, re ceived a large number of guests as sembled to do honor to the con tracting parties. Rev. Fletcher presided and proposed the health of the bride and bridegroom, and other customary toasts were given, the speakers being Messrs W. J. Hard wick, W. Crain, I. Crain, N. Horsley, A. and J. Dennis, and Austin Den nis. The bride's traveling dress was beige marocain, skint finely pleated, hand-embroidered bodice, hat, glo ves, stockings, shoes and bag to tone; cinnamon Ottoman coat. The bride's gift to the bridegroom was a travelling case beautifully fitted, The bridegroom's gift to the bride was a mauve xylonite brush, comb and mirror, and bridegroom's gifts to the bridesmaids were mani cure sets.
