GRANT— OATES. A wedding of considerable interest in the Wagga district was celebrated yesterday by the Rev. P. W. Brown at the Wagga Methodist Church, when Miss Vera Oatcs, eldest daughter of Alderman and. Mrs. Hugh Oates of Beekwith street, was married to Mr. George F. Grant, son of Mrs. and the late Mr. Grant, of Mornington, Victoria. The church was beautifully decorated by lady friends of the bride. The bride who was given away by her father, was gracefully, gowned in ivory georgette over white satin, trimmed with handmade flowers, silver leaves, sprays of orange blossoms, with a silver and orange blossom horseshoe suspended from her right arm. Her tulle veil was held in place by a bandeau of orange blossoms and silver leaves. Her bouquet of cactus dahlias , white roses with maiden-hair fern and streamers of silver tissue and tulle, Were the gift of the bridegroom. Miss Belle Oates, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, and wore a dainty frock. Mr. George Evans acted as best man and ably carried out his duties. Mr. and Mrs. H.
