She married William Hutchison on 18 Feb 1834 St. Cuthbert's Church, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland. The young couple emigrated to the colony as assisted immigrants, arriving in Port Jackson on 3 Feb 1835 on the ship "Undaunted". They had 4 (four), children, Robert, George, Mary Ann, and Christina.
