Personal Notes: |
David Pabst of Holbrook, farmed and managed the Germanton Inn prior to establishing "Pinedeane", a sheep and wheat farm of 1300 acres at Milbrulong about 1881. "Pinedeane" was part of a house-to-house school in the 1880s and 1890s before David and others achieved a full-time school. Around 1890, David was President of Greensgunyah Progress Committee, Brookong Farmers' Union and Rock to Urana Railway League. Annie nee Bent was "one of the ablest pioneer women"; she was a hard worker, inspiring leader and outstanding speaker. After losing seven members of the family to tuberculosis, she was President of the Women's Liberal Association and Women's Guild of the Church of England, member of the Boree Creek Farmers' Union, President of the Boree Creek Red Cross, member of the Soldiers' Reception Committee and Patron of the RSL. |

This public tree has about 60,100 people. Every person in the tree is related by birth or marriage to at least one other person in the tree - no strays. The people in the tree come mainly from four projects.
If you find errors - anything incorrect (dates, places, wrong parents, wrong children), and you have evidence, I would love to fix them. Or, if you have information that would extend my projects, do not hestiate to contact me on the email link below. I do not publish information on living people - which means I'm not much interested in people born after about 1920, and I usually distrust material from before about 1770 without extremely good sources. g.bell@bigpond.net.au When you click the mail address abouve, if it does not open your email app, copy the address on the screen.
