Personal Notes:

Annie nee Bent was "one of the ablest pioneer women"; she was a hard worker, inspiring leader and outstanding speaker. After losing seven members of the family to tuberculosis, she was President of the Women's Liberal Association and Women's Guild of the Church of England, member of the Boree Creek Farmers' Union, President of the Boree Creek Red Cross, member of the Soldiers' Reception Committee and Patron of the RSL.
