The Tumut and Adelong Times 13 Sep 1938
OBITUARY MR. DAVID NICHOLLS The death took place at Bongolong on Saturday last of Mr. David Nicholls, aged 54 years. Deceased was a brother of Mr. S. H. Nicholls, at Mondongo, and was a returned soldier, the Diggers being conspicuously represented at his funeral at Gundagai on Sunday, the remains being interred in the Presbyterian portion of the North Gundagai Cemetery with Masonic honors, Rev. J. H. McGoun officiating at the graveside. The pallbearers were six Freemasons. He married the widow of the late John Isaac, but there was no issue. |
