Personal Notes: |
STOCKTON— COTTAM At St. John's Church of England on Saturday, January, the Rev. Debenham officiated at a wedding of district interest. The bride was Miss Edith Cottam, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cottam, Wolseley Park, Tumbarumba, and the bridegroom Mr. F. Stockton, only son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Stockton, of North Wagga. The ceremony took place at 3 p.m., the bride wearing a frock of ivory crepe de chene with lace over skirt, and the usual wreath and veil. The bridesmaid, Miss Cottam, sister of the bride, looked nice in apricot silk, with black picture hat. The best man was Mr. W. Price. The wedding took place at St. Mary's Hall where Mrs. Cottam, gowned in black marocain, received her guests, numbering nearly 100. Mr. W. J. Stevenson took the chair, and the usual toasts were honored. |
