OBITUARY MRS. ELLA DOWNIE The death occurred at the Wagga Base Hospital last week of Ellen Downie, wife of Mr. E. G. Downie, of Wolseley Park, at the age of 43 years. She is survived by her husband and three sons, John (R.A.A.F.), Brian, of The Rock, and Geoffrey, of Wolseley Park: two daughters, Daphne (Mrs. G. White), of Melbourne, and Ellen (Wolseley Park). Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. Cottam, of Bago; three sisters, Mrs. F. Stockton, of Wagga, Mrs. J. Wilson, of Tumbarumba, Mrs. F. Whitsea, of Corryong, Victoria; and one brother, Mr. Oswald Cottam, of Bago. The funeral took place on Saturday afternoon. The cortege moved from St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Wagga, after a service at 2 o'clock. In terment took place in the Wagga Cemetery. |
