It is with feelings of deepest sympathy we record the death of Mrs. Emily Jane Tozor, wife of Mr. George Tozer, of Murrumburrah, which sad event took place at her late residence in Bathurst street, on Saturday evening last, after a short illness of a week's duration, the cause of death being pneumonia.

The deceased, who was a fine robust woman, contracted a cold about a fortnight ago, which forced her to bed on the Tuesday prior to her death. The family's medical adviser was constantly in attendance and done all that was humanly possible to relieve her sufferings, but to no avail, and death interevened as stated above.

The late Mrs. Tozer, who had reached the age of 52 years, was a native of Cooma, and along with her husband and family, came to Murrumburrah about 15 years ago, and had resided here ever since. She was possessed of a most loveable and charitable disposition, and was ever ready to assist those in distress.

Besides a sorrowing husband, deceased leaves a family of six sons and five daughters to mourn the loss of a kind and loving wife and mother. The sons are Messrs Cyril, Edward, Fred, Walter, and Leo Tozer of Murrumburrah, Harold (Punchbowl) ; the daughters being Mrs. F. Morgan (Tempe), Mrs. Hoad, Mrs. E. J. Leary, Misses Tessie and Peace Tozer (Murrumburrah). Four children pre-deceased their mother.

The funeral took place on Monday afternoon to the R.C. portion of the Murrumburrah cemetery, the prayers at the graveside being read by the Venerable Archdeacon Griffin. -Mr. J. R. Sewell conducted tho mortuary arrangements.
