OBITUARY - EZRA WILLIAM QUARMBY The death occurred at his late residence, "Honeysuckle," Batlow West, yesterday afternoon, of Ezra William Quarmby, at the age of 71 years. Deceased was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Quarmby, and was born at Kiandra. He went to Batlow at the age of six years, where he has resided ever since. He led a most active life; taking part in all matters affecting town and district, being a very active member of the Batlow A. and P. Association, and the Agricultural Bureau. He will be greatly missed at Batlow, where he was so well-known and highly esteemed—being a man who always lent a helping hand to those in need. He was also a very active member of the Methodist Church. He married Sarah the second daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Basham, of Batlow, who, together with twelve children, survive. The children are Jack, William, Raymond, Percy, Edward, Samuel and Wesley (Bathurst), and the Misses Elsie, Agnes, Millie, Hazel, Ethel (Chatswood), and Mrs. H.
