Personal Notes: |
The Needham family suffered a number of tragic deaths: George Senior was killed at age 37 in a fall from a horse; sons, each one named George died at 20 months and 5 years respectively, the second son called George was drowned together with his sister, Helen, exactly four years after their father died. Samuel was killed in a fall from a sulky, as was their niece, Emma in a separate accident. The children of Mary Anne Grindley and Charles William Hale are listed with their father. |
