Personal Notes:

George Arthur Nixon was born in Wagga Wagga. His mother died when he was 15 years old and he went to live with the Bardwell family on "Woodlands" where he became overseer. The family lived there until George and his wife, Mary, retired into Wagga Wagga where they resided at "Gregadoo" 16 Grandview Avenue. There are descendants of this family still living in Wagga Wagga.
