Personal Notes:

The Tumut and Adelong Times 17 May 1927
Mr. George Hibbens, an old Tumut identity and uncle of Mr. Geo. Hibbens, of Mundongo, died at Marrickville on 4th inst. Deceased, who was, 74 years of age, lived in this district for 50 years, being engaged in farming pursuits. Leaving Tumut in 1910 he went to Inverell, ultimately selling his landed property at the latter place, and going to Marrickville to live in retirement.
