* Hugh Wansey Bayly (*10.5.1873-1946), M.C., MA, MRCS, LRCP; Organiser of a London Troop for & Surgeon to the Enniskillen Horse (Ulster Volunteer Force), April to Aug. 1914; late Surgeon RN (temp.), (1914–15 Star); Capt. (acting Lt-Col) RAMC (TF), 1915–19; attached to 1st Scots Guards, RFA (twice wounded). (Post-war: expert on STDs; Hon-Sec. of Joint Comm. of Ex-Servicemen & president of Ex-Servicemen’s National Movement, 1923-24; author Triple Challenge, or War, Whirligigs and Windmills, London : Hutchinson & Co., 1935).
