Personal Notes:

James Hibbens with his wife and sons James, William, and Joseph came from Rutlandshire, England to Australia in 1853. They went straight to Green Hills where they worked for J .B. Sharp for about two years, then to Tumut and worked for some years for William Bridle. In 1861 James Hibbens bought a farming area of 75 acres at Bombowlee. He died in 1880.
