The Tumut and Adelong Times 23 May 1913
Obituary A 60 years' resident, Mrs. Jane Dunn, died at the residence of her daughter, Miss Dunn, on Monday morning after an illness extending over six months. Deceased's maiden name was Liddy, and she was a native of County Clare, Ireland. She came to Australia when but 16 years of age — just 62 years ago. In the year of the big Gundagai flood, 1852, she was married at Yass to the late Mr. Dunn, who predeceased her by 22 years. For 53 years she lived in Tumut district, and eight years ago came to reside in Gundagai with her unmarried daughter. She had been a great sufferer and death came as a relief. Eight children survive, viz. Mr Thos. Dunn, Leeton; Mr. Tim Dunn, Junee; Mr. D. Dunn, Narromine; Mrs. T. Keefe, Wyangle, Mrs. J Webb, Wagra; Mr. P. Dunn, Wagra; and Miss Dunn, Gundagai. Thirty six grandchildren and six great grandchildren are also left behind. The body was removed to St. Patrick's R.C. Church on Monday evening, and a solemn Requiem Mass was offered on Tuesday morning, after which the remains were taken to Tumut for interment in the R.C. cemetery, next those of deceased's husband. — "Gundagai Independent." |

This public tree has about 60,100 people. Every person in the tree is related by birth or marriage to at least one other person in the tree - no strays. The people in the tree come mainly from four projects.
If you find errors - anything incorrect (dates, places, wrong parents, wrong children), and you have evidence, I would love to fix them. Or, if you have information that would extend my projects, do not hestiate to contact me on the email link below. I do not publish information on living people - which means I'm not much interested in people born after about 1920, and I usually distrust material from before about 1770 without extremely good sources. g.bell@bigpond.net.au When you click the mail address abouve, if it does not open your email app, copy the address on the screen.
