Personal Notes:
Isaac Vincent (Senior) and his family lived at Mundarlo from 1839, while Isaac worked for Henry Michel. In 1847 Isaac took up "Mittagong Station" at The Rock. It was 64,000 acres. Dan Morgan burned down the property's barn because Isaac Junior had told police where to find him. (1863). There was a small gold rush on "Mittagong" in 1870. Elizabeth ran the property for many years after Isaac's death. She also established a winery and vineyard at "The Rock Cottage" Lake Albert. She generously supported the Methodist Church in Wagga Wagga. Her estate was worth over £11,000. There is a book "Sailing to a Distant Land" by Carol Wood of Auchenflower, Brisbane on Isaac's brother, Jacob, and his family. It does contain some details on Isaac and his family and it also has information on the family in Dewlish.
