MRS. J. NAUGHTIN The death occurred at her residence at Ladysmith yesterday morning of one of the district's oldest residents, Mrs. Johanna Naughtin of Ladysmith, at the age of 81 years. Mrs. Naugh- tin, who was the widow of the late James Naughtin; was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Francis Reineker, of Wagga, and she had lived at Lady- smith for 60 years. She came from Camden with her parents, and was married at Wagga to the late James Naughtin. Mrs. Naughtin was a very keen supporter and worker, in all af fairs for the good and welfare of her district, and was held in high esteem and respect by a wide circle of frlends. She Is survived by one daughter, Mrs. S. Stearnun. of Ladysmlth. and one son, Mr. Henry James Naughtin, of Forest Hill, also one sister. Mrs. Sarah Gordon, of Edward-street, Wagga, and four brothers. Messrs. Henry Reineker, Forest Hill; Michael Reineker. North Wagga; and George and Laurence Reineker. North Wagga. Her funeral will leave St. Michael's Cathedral, Wagga, at 3 o'clock this afternoon for the Wagga cemetery. |

FUNERAL MRS. J. NAUGHTIN The funeral of . Mrs. Johanna Naughtin, of Ladysmith, whose death occurred at her residence on Tuesday morning after a short illness at the age of 81 years, took place in Wagga yesterday afternoon. The cortege, which was a very representative one, consisting of relatives and friends from Forest Hill, Ladysmith. Balidale and Wagga, moved from St. Michael's Cathedral after prayers had been read by the Rev. father Glover. The inter ment took place in the family por tion of the Catholic section of the Wagga cemetery, the Rev. father Desmond officiating at the graveside. The casket was carried to the grave by Messrs. George, Walter, Charles and Michael G. Reineker nephews), Charle Smith and Ivan MacVean, while the pall-bearers were Messrs. E Stearman (son-in-law), Henry Reinener, Michael Reineker, and L. Reineker (brothers), Jack, Budd (nephew), Thomas Smith, Albert Smith and Leslie Reineker. The fioral tray, laden with beautiful wreaths, was car ried by Messrs. Vince Food (grandson), Gordon Smith, Thomas Ryan and George Davis (nepnew). The cheif mourners at the graveside were Mrs. E. Stearman (daughter), Mr. H. J. Naughtin (son), Mr. E. Stearman \son in-law), Mrs. M. Seymour, of Baildale (sister-in-law), - Mrs. H. J. Naughtin (daughter-in-law), Messrs. Henry, Michael, George and Laurence Beine ker- (brothers). Mrs. M. Reineker and Mrs. George Reineker (sisters-in-law), Mr. and Mrs; J. Budd, Messrs. G. Reineker, O. Reineker, W.. Reineker, Jack Reineker, George Reineker, Les lie and Bert Reineker, William and Thomas Reineker,- Mrs. J.
