DEATH OF MRS. WILLIAM MURRAY Death claimed on Thursday night at the Tumut and District Hospital, Mrs. Kathleen Murray, the young wife of Mr. William Murray, of Newtown, Tumut, after a short illness. Deceased, with their three children, had been residing at Yarrangobilly temporarily with her husband, who has charge of Mr. Cook's sheep on summer pastures. While there she contracted mumps, and after the swellings had gone down she came to Tumut for a rest, intending to return to her husband's camp at the weekend. She consulted Dr. Browne, who ordered her immediately into hospital. On Thursday morning she lapsed into unconsciousness, and without regaining consciousness died at 11.10 o'clock that night, the aftermath of the mumps being the cause of death. Deceased was but 24 years of age and was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Eggleton, of West Blowering, who with a sorrowing husband and three little children, the eldest five and the youngest three years, are left to mourn their irreparable loss. The funeral took place on Friday, the interment being in the Roman Catholic part of the New Cemetery, alongside the remains of deccased's aunt, Mary Murray, Rev. Fr. Sharkey performed the last sad rites at the graveside and Mr. H. W. Baker carried out the mortuary arrangements.
