| John Glover was a convict. He was assigned to George McLeay whose overseer was John Peter. He then worked for Peter until Peter returned to England. According to family, John Glover arrived in Wagga Wagga not long after the explorers. However, in the 1837 muster he was in Camden. He had freehold at Kyeamba Creek, Murrumbidgee, 1875. He died aged 100 (Daily Advertiser 13 May 1899). |
