John Joseph MALLON owned a sawmill at Coolamon. John Mallon died after a week's illness. His death was due to an intestinal blockage, probably a hernia. At the time he was supplying timber for the building of St Michael's Catholic Church. Anne Maria was widowed at age 25 with two very young children. Some years later she remarried.
