MAIR—PETTIT. There was an air of excitement —particularly among the ladies—at Beulah on Wednesday morning last, the occasion being the marriage of Miss F. E. Pettit, of that town, and Mr. A. K. Mair, of Hopetoun. The ceremony took place in St. Peter's Church of England, which had been beautifully decorated for the occa sion by the lady friends of the bride. The building was well filled. The Kev. Fleischer offici ated. The bride, who looked very pretty, was given away by Mr. II. E. Ackland. She was attended by her sisters, Misses 0. and L. Pettit, whilst Mr. R. Ford was groomsman.

Note 3: The Argus (Melbourne) 2 Feb 1918 MAIR (nee Babe Pettit).—On the 26th January, at 469 Brunswick-street, North Fitzroy, to Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Mair—a daughter (Elizabeth Jean). Both well.
