PETTIT-WILLOUGHBY.
On Wednesday, 27th ult , a very
elegant event took place at All
Saint's Anglican Church, when Mr
Harold Pettit, son of the late Mr
Pettit of St. Arnaud, was united
in matrimony with Miss Charlotte May
Willoughby, youngest daughter of
Mr and Mrs A. J.Willoughby, of
??? The bride, who looked very
stunning in a dress of grey satin
??? cloth trimmed with fine creanm
??? with white hat trimmed witlh
??? , was given away by her father.
Agnes Wi!lloughby (sister of
the bride) was bridesmaid, and the
role of best man was capably
carried out by Mr W. J. Willoughby
brother of the bride). The ceremony
was performed by the Rev. E. Downton.
A first class wedding breakfast was
partaken of at the residence of the bride's
parents and the usual toasts were offered.
The happy couple left on the evening train
for St. Arnaud to Ballarat,
where the honeymoon was spent.
Their home will be ???
A number of valuable presents
