Note 3: Kynton Guardian 8 Oct 1918 Death of Mrs. R. Jones. Mrs. Bridget Jones, widow of the late Mr. Robert Jones, died at her residence, Mill street. Kyneton, at 6 p.m. 0n Sunday. The primary cause of death was influenza, from which she had been suffering for several days, though dangerous symptoms were not noticeable until Friday last. She was a native of County Leitrim, Ireland, and was 77 years of age. She came to Victoria 45 years ago and had been living in Kyneton for practically the whole of the time since. She leaves no family. Mrs. Murphy, of Rochester is a sister. The late Mrs. Margaret Latham, of South Kyneton, was also a sister. The burial will take place in the Kyneton cemetery, the funeral leaving deceased's late residence in Mill street at two o'clock this afternoon.
