DEATH OF H. C. BOULTER.
It is with great regret that we re
port the death of Hilton Arthur
Boulter, which took place at Dr.
Ross’s private Hospital on Thursday
last, prior, to being operated on for
an internal-trouble, at the age of 52
years. “Hilly" Boulter, as deceased,
was familiarly, called, was a native
of Bowen, resided near the Rifle
Range , was a waterside worker and
did a little farming. He was in
dustrious, hard-working; unassum
ing and inoffensive, and well-liked
and respected. He leaves a wife
and nine sons and daughters, some
of which are grown up, the youngest
being only three years and general
sympathy is extended to them in
their sudden and great loss. The
body is being brought to Bowen, the
funeral being arranged for 10 a.m.
today.

a very charming wedding on Wednes
day evening last, February 5th, at
6.45 p.m., the Holy Trinity Church
being the scene of the ceremony. The
bride was Christabel, eldest daughter
of Mrs. Menzies and the late H . G.
Menzies plighted her troth to Eric,
third son of Mrs. Boulter and the late
H. Boulter.
Bride given away by brother Ian Menzies (father died 1930)
Brides attendant - Iris Menzies - her sister
Best man - R. Boulter - brother of groom
