Courier Mail (Brisbane) 28 Dec 1940 The death also is announced of Mr. James Cleaves Stockdon, aged 69, grazier, of Cinna bar. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt Stockden, of Gympie, where he was born. Forty-one years ago he married Miss Eliza beth Williams, of Manumbar. Many years ago he took up land In the Cinnabar area, where he lived until his death. He is sur vived by a widow, two sons — Messrs. R. and G. Stockden (both of Cinnabar), and three daughters — Mesdames C. Gawler (Murwlllum bah), J. Connolly (Gympic), and Miss E. Stockden.
