www.london-gazette.co.uk/issues/20771/pages/3254/page.pdf 7th September 1847 WHEREAS a Petition of Joseph Fidler Smith, at present, and for ten years last past, residing at Crich, in the county of Derby, Frame .Smith and Machine Maker, an insolvent debtor, having been filed in the Birmingham District Court of Bankruptcy, and the interim order for protection from process having been given to the said Joseph Fidler Smith, under the provisions of the Statutes in that case made and provided, the said Joseph Fidler Smith is hereby required to appear in Court before John Balguy, Esq. the Commissioner acting in the matter of the said Petition, on the 24th day of September instant, at eleven in the forenoon precisely, at the District Court of Bankruptcy, at the Exchange-rooms, Nottingham, for iis first examination touching his debts, estate, and effects, and to be further dealt with according to the provisions of the said Statutes; and the choice of the creditors' assignees is to take place at the time so appointed. All persons indebted to the said Joseph Fidler Smith, or that have any of his effects, are not to pay or deliver the same but to Mr. Thomas Bittleston, of High-street, Nottingham, the Offcial Assignee, nominated in that behalf by the Commissioner acting in the matter of the said Petition. |
