Note 2: Qld bmd - 1915 C29 August Frederich Nehmer Fredrich Nehmer and Julia Heutz Morning Bulletin (Rockhampton) 25 March 1915 LONGREACH, March 24. Mr Frederick Nehmer, a very old resi dent of Longreach, died somewhat sud- denly. Last night he complained of not being too well. Dr. F. A. H. Michod was sent for, but Mr. Nehmer passed away soon after his arrival. Death was due to heart failure. The deceased was fifty five years of age. He arrived in Australia from Prussia forty years ago. He came here when the railway was opened. He was Past Chief Ranger of tile Foresters' Lodge. The members of that body took part this afternoon in the funeral, which was largely attended.

Our Longreach correspondent wrote on the 6th instant : — A quiet but pretty wedding was celebrated at St Brigid's Catholic Church on Thursday morning, the contracting parties being Miss Mary Nehmer (eldest daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. Nehmer, of Longreach), and Mr. Joseph Bodero (fourth son of Mrs. and the late Mr Bodero, of Rockhampton). The Rev. Father Quinn officiated. The bride en tered the church on the arm of her brother, Mr. Fred Nehmer; Miss Gert lude Nehmer, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid, and Mr. Chas. Nehmer carried out the duties of best man.
