Agnes Smith Montgomery Sneddon (nee Sinclair) Born 06 May 1862 Irvine Ayr Scotland, Died 11 May 1949, Teralba, New South Wales. Arrived in Australia c.1865, daughter of David Sinclair, occupation, Coal Miner and Marion Cumming). She married 16 April 1884, Wallsend, New South Wales to William Sneddon, born 16 April, 1859, Wallsend, New South Wales, died 22 Sept 1906, Teralba . Occupation 1897-19016 Colliery Manager (son of Andrew Sneddon b. 1823, died Dec 1903 at his residence at Cockle Creek NSW and Agnes Donavon who married in Scotland and arrived in Australia Sydney, 1858 per SS Joshua.)
Agnes continued to live at the Manager's residence at the Northern Extended Mine after the death of her husband, William. In 1919 she moved into her new home at 101 Railway Street Teralba, NSW. Agnes had been widowed for thirteen years and had only two years earlier lost her eldest son Andrew who was killed in France while serving in the WWI.

Early to-day Andrew Sneddon, residing at Weston, and employed at Hebburn colliery, was struck by a fall of coal in No. 1 tunnel, and one of his hips was fractured. He was taken to Maitland Hospital.
