Personal Notes: |
Robert was the first of the Patterson to select land at Harefield. He selected his first block on 21 Mar 1867 and over the next nine years the family continued to purchase land until they held twelve parcels of land which formed the majority of the Patterson held land. Robert Jnr held the land on which the original homestead was situated. He was interested in breeding and racing horses. He was killed instantly by a kick from a horse, owned by Mr George Lindon. He is buried by his father at Geralgambeth, Harefield, |
