George took up land at Harefield in 1866 with his brother - Geralgambeth, (Patterson Road) and later by himself at Flowerdale, He was licensee of the Black Swan Hotel, 1892 to 1894. A butcher at North Wagga and a contractor, practically fencing the Wagga Experimental Farm including the grape vine trellis. He was working on the Wantabadery Estate when the Moonlight gang made its raid on the homestead. Frances used to assist the Waggas Dr Martin, with mid wifery services. |
