Plot 23, Row D No 4 William Douglas 1893 was wounded in France during the First War when a bullet passed through his helmet, killing another soldier. He was sent to England to recuperate but died of his wounds in Sep 1917. His name was entered on the Loyal Strangers Friendly Society Honour Board. |
