The. death occurred at Lewisham Private Hospital yesterday of Mrs. Sarah Ann Emblen, of 62 Best Street, Wagga, at the age of 87 years. Mrs. Emblen, who was a very old and highly respected resident of Wagga, was the wife of the late Robert Emblen, who was for many years town clerk in this town. She Is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Fred Middlemiss, of Best Street, Wagga, and one son, Mr. R. W. Emblen, of Goulbum. A son, Frederick Emblen predeceased her only a few months ago. Her funeral will take place tomorrow morning the cortege leaving St. John's Church of England after a service to start at 11 o'clock for the Wagga cemetery. EMBLEN The funeral ot the late Mrs. Sarah Ann Emblen, of 62 Best Street, Wagga (wife of the late Robert Emblen), who died at Lewisham Private Hospital on Wednesday, took place yesterday morning. The cortege moved from St. John's Church of England after a service conducted by the Ven. Archdeacon West. Mrs. Sutherland officiated at the organ during the singing of ''Peace Perfect Peace." Interment took place in the Wagga Cemetery, when the Archdeacon again officiated. Relatives and friends were present from Goulburn and Malebo.
