He served with the HQ RAE 7 Division at the rank of Sapper (Service Number NX165616 (N200766)) and was discharged on the 18 January 1946. His Father was listed as his NOK. He married Audrey Ella Gadd in 1949 in Sydney . He died 9 February 1974 in NSW aged 52 and was described in the death notices as being late of Matraville, NSW.
