Personal Notes:

Daily Advertiser 10 May 1919 page 4. It was on the 8th May that John Henry Clear died as a consequence of influenza infection. He was forty three years old, and the eldest son of Mr & Mrs William Clear of Gossett Street, Wagga Wagga. He was survived by his elderly parents and nine siblings – Five brothers: James (Yass), Bert (Melbourne), William, Frank and Percy, all of Wagga Wagga; and four sisters: Mrs G Sutherland and Mrs W Graham, both of Wagga Wagga, Mrs Bert Graham of Lake Albert and Mrs S Rynehart of the Albury Road. His widow survived him as did their three children.
