The Tumut and Adelong Times 15 Jun 1927
DEATH OF MRS. ALFRED POTTER Mrs. Martha Potter, relict of the late Alfred Potter, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Walter McDonald, Capper-street, Tumut, on Sunday. Her maiden name was Hoad— a sister of Mr. H. W. Hoad, of Russell-street, and she, too, was a Tumut native born. Her large family received a double shock, their mother's death coming so close upon her daughter's in Temora on June 4. Deceased was 69 years of age. The funeral took place yesterday.
