EXminster. Prior to her marriage she had a son Francis Townsend. Mary and Samuel had a daughter Matilda in 1806 and a son Samuel 1809 who later became a tailor. At some undetermined date Matilda married her first cousin, wine and spirit merchant Edward, the eldest son of Elizabeth and John Bowcher mentioned above - and lived to 80! |
